Jamar Doyle
Commercial Development Manager

Jamar Doyle was hired as the Commercial Development Manager in August of 2007.  His focus areas include coordinating services and support for neighborhood businesses as well as planning for neighborhood retail and real estate development.

Prior to coming to SCSDC, Jamar was selected as a Housing and Urban Development Community Fellow, earning a full scholarship to the Levin College at Cleveland State University to pursue his Master’s Degree in Urban Planning, Design and Development (expected graduation date: May 2008).  He has worked as the Main Office Coordinator at Citizens’ Academy in Cleveland, Education Director at Allegheny County’s Promise (a youth service organization) in Pittsburgh, and as a Neighborhood Policy Coordinator in the Mayor’s Office in Pittsburgh.

Jamar graduated cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh with a dual Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Urban Studies.  He is also a 2002 graduate of the prestigious Coro Fellows Program in Public Affairs, a national leadership development program.
