James Amendola
Industrial & Commercial Business Manager

James Amendola serves as the Industrial and Commercial Business Manager.  His roles and responsibilities revolve around business development, retention and expansion services for commercial and industrial businesses in our service area.   Through various city and non-city programs SCSDC will make every effort to assist your business in any way possible.  SCSDC has formed partnerships with the City of Cleveland, CIRI, and other economic development agencies across the region. If you have any questions or need assistance we are often a great place to help you find the answers you are looking for.

Prior to joining St. Clair Superior Development Corporation James worked for Amendola Engineering, Inc., an environmental consulting company in Lakewood, Ohio for three years form 2004-2007.  He has also worked part time since 2006 for Robert Simons & Associates, Inc., a planning and real estate consulting firm. 

James graduated from The College of Wooster in 2004 with a bachelor’s degree in Urban Studies.  Immediately following graduation from Wooster he enrolled in Cleveland State’s College of Urban Affairs where he earned a Master’s degree in Urban Planning, Design and Development with a graduate certificate in Geographical Information Systems in 2006.
