Earning a B.A. in Art from Cleveland State University, Karen Wellman has participated in several group shows and community projects over the past several years in the Cleveland area. After enjoying 7 years of working at the Cleveland Museum of Art in the Visitor Services and Development Department, she became an Admissions Counselor at the Cleveland Institute of Art just this past year.  She now enjoys engaging with high school juniors and seniors at college fairs, reviewing their portfolios, and helping them learn about the great programs that CIA has to offer young emerging artists. Most recently you may have seen some of her colorful acrylic paintings or glitter art at the annual Spaces Membership Show or at the Open Air Market Square.
