Ron and Margie Hill met in art class at Solon High School in the late seventies. Still educators at heart, Ron is an interactive media / commercial art, tech-prep teacher at Alliance High School, and Margie is a teacher's aid in the preschool program at Solon Schools. Ron is also a member of the National Cartoonists Society, a freelance illustrator, caricaturist, and editorial cartoonist for the Chagrin Valley Times and the Solon Times. Margie and Ron have collaborated on other public art projects in Cleveland, including a Sparx in the City Fire Hydrant (2002), and Guitar Mania (2007), but their most cherished collaborations are their three almost-full-grown children: Jon, Chay and Rachel.
